President Obama in India for state visit

 President and wife arriving in India for 3 day State visit on Sunday.



"President Barack Obama paid his respects to civil rights icon Mahatma Ghandi during his state visit to India this weekend. 
The president threw rose petals at Raj Ghat, the memorial for India's independence icon in New Delhi, after being given a warm welcome by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.President Obama opened a historic three-day visit to India by hugging Prime Minister Modi as he disembarked Air Force One. 
The trip has already been a success for Mr Obama and Mr Modi, as the two today were able to resolve a long-standing issue over India's civil nuclear program. 
However, Mr Obama also decided to cut the long-planned visit short in order to fly to Saudi Arabia to meet new King Salman following the death of his brother and predecessor King Abdullah. The last minute change of plans to honor the Saudis comes just weeks after the president was criticized for missing an anti-terrorism march in Paris." -  Daily Mail
